I paid a visit to Ohio's premiere record shop, Cleveland's The Bent Crayon, this week.  It's probably been close to 5 years since I last visited the shop.  SInce moving to Columbus I haven't had enough opportunities to stop by.  Of course the owner is always willing to mail your goods direct, but a visit to the shop opens up a plethora of backlog.  I spent a good three hours sifting and listening and choosing.  Sure it's been a while, but the store has much to choose from and most of it is well worth the search.

This week I am tackling a conversion from my outdated server, currently running FC4, to new hardware which is now running CentOS 5.  So no big deal right?  I have certainly been dreading the move, because of all the fun I've had installing osprey/permaseed in the past.  I am happy to say that the conversion WAS in fact NO BIG DEAL.  Here' s what I did in case anyone else ever needs some advice on the process.
