I paid a visit to Ohio's premiere record shop, Cleveland's The Bent Crayon, this week.  It's probably been close to 5 years since I last visited the shop.  SInce moving to Columbus I haven't had enough opportunities to stop by.  Of course the owner is always willing to mail your goods direct, but a visit to the shop opens up a plethora of backlog.  I spent a good three hours sifting and listening and choosing.  Sure it's been a while, but the store has much to choose from and most of it is well worth the search.

I definitely don't see The Raconteurs as an obvious fit for the site, but I must break my own completely-made-up-bloglines to make sure this gets posted.

Let me prepare some thoughts and send a brief warning.  I'm about to state some facts (and opinions) about the internet.  This may not be suited for everyone, so if you are idealistic about web marketing, blogs, click-through ads, mumbo-jumbo and so-on and so-forth...  hang up the phone.  Did I lose you yet?
